WhatPond’s Sludge Remover and Shoreline treatment is a natural formulation of beneficial pond bacteria for use in large ponds & lakes. It contains species of cold water bacteria, making this product effective in water temperatures ranging from 35-95 F. This product has been produced into dissolvable blocks, which sink to the bottom of the pond and naturally remove the bottom-sludge (muck) that has accumulated from decaying plant matter, fish wastes and other organic waste materials. Same great blend of beneficial bacteria’s as in our Pond Clarifier, only in a compressed block.

DIRECTIONS (BOTTOM-SLUDGE):
Apply 64 dissolvable blocks per surface acre of pond or lake water, every 2-4 weeks or as needed. The 1 oz blocks will sink to the bottom of the pond and begin to eliminate the organic build-up of bottom-sludge (muck). If treating every month will last 6 months, every other week will last for three months.
DIRECTIONS (SHORELINE):
Apply 1 dissolvable block, every 6-8 feet, as a shoreline treatment. Or 15 to 20 blocks per 1/4 acre every two weeks.
We like to use the one ounce blocks in ponds with higher flow through rates since the blocks will sink faster than the water soluble packets and sink into the muck a little deeper. Since we have the flow through Super Concentrated Pond Dye is not included.
